Let Summer Begin!

I know what your thinking..."I thought she was going to keep up on the blog?" I know, but I was so busy with the kids, work and school that I just did not have time to get on here. Well, since I lost my job at the end of March, I think I will have some time to keep the blog updated. :o) At least I will try anyhow!

Emilie was in gymnastics, which she absolutely loves and we were told by her coach that she is built like a gymnast and that it comes naturally to her. It is truly a passion of hers to be in gymnastics.

I can't believe that summer is just around the corner. Emilie and J3 are loving the warm weather and love it outside. Daddy just put the pool up today, so in a week or so we should be swimming. Hooray!

It's going to be a good summer!

A Fischer Update

Well, its been quite some time since we have left a post. We have been extremely busy. On March 10th, John III was born. He weighed in at 8lbs 12oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. Emilie is such a proud big sister and is a great help to mommy and daddy.

Emilie is 3 1/2 and starting preschool in just over a week, and John III or J3 as we call him will be 6 months old in just over a week. J3 is very close to crawling-being able to schooch himself across the floor to get to whatever object he wants. He is able to do an army crawl, but has not quite figured out to get up on his hands and knees. He will however, get up on his forearms and knees and rock back and forth. It is so cute to watch as they learn and grow.

Mommy and daddy have been busy working as usual. We do spend as much time with the kids as possible and have tried to do many things over the summer, although the weather has not cooperated with us. Daddy bought mommy a new quad. :o) And daddy got a promotion at work.

We are planning a trip to the zoo this weekend, as long as the rain holds off. We tried to go last Wednesday but it rained all day. We will post pictures of the zoo as soon as we are able to go.

We're Back!

Well, it has been a very long time since I posted. My goal is to keep up on the posts this year. Since the last post a lot has happened. We have been extremely busy; John has been extremely busy at work as well as myself, and Emilie is growing up so fast. In July, John and I went to Traverse City for our anniversary and found out I was pregnant. I went to the doctor and found out I was due on Friday Marach 13th. (Another Friday the 13th due date) My pregnancy started out good but by 8 weeks along I was nauseous and vomitting. This went on through my 5th month. I also had ligament pain, horrible indigestion and toxemia/preclampsia my last month of pregnancy. I scheduled a c-section for March 10th.

On March 10th at 7:30am I arrived at the hospital (along with John, Emilie, my mom and dad, sister and her husband) and was prepped for my surgery. John Fischer III was born at 9:44am weighing in at 8 pounds 12 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. He looks a lot like his big sister. Big sister Emilie loves her baby brother a lot. We are very happy to have him here (especially mom).

January 2008

It is the end of January already and it is only 14 degrees and we are in a Wind Advisory. Emilie and I are hanging out at home in our sweats trying to stay warm.

Emilie turned 2 January 13th. She had 2 birthday parties, one on Jan. 12th at Collier Lane's Bowling alley with the Fischer's and some friends. Grammy and Poppy Clark came for the weekend too. Emilie had a lot of fun and got a lot of presents. Her second birthday party was the weekend after on Jan. 19th at Northway Lanes in Muskegon with mommies family and some friends. Again, she had a good time and received a ton of gifts.

Thanks to everyone who were able to join us to celebrate Emilie's 2nd Birthday!Emilie has been singing Happy Birthday to herself ever since and she thinks it is always her birthday! :o)

I start another class towards my Master's on Feb. 14th and we celebrate John's birthday on Feb. 13th. Emilie and I have a surprise gift for daddy! We'll tell everyone about it after his birthday! :o)

How Time Flies!

I can not believe that it is already December. It has been a long time since I posted. Since the last time I posted, we have been extremely busy. I started school again, Emilie is talking our ears off and learning so many new things, John just finished the last week of his Winter classes, and we are both working.

Christmas is almost here and I still have some more shopping to do. We have a pretty busy month coming with with Christmas parties and gatherings, and Emilie has a birthday party to attend this weekend. A friend of hers, Samantha, turns 2 on December 13th. We are very excited about going as Emilie and Samantha are great friends.

On another note, Midnight (my cat) has been really sick. We are not sure what is going on right now, it could be anything from liver disease, liver cancer or maybe even a brain tumor. I am taking it one day at a time with him, hoping that he will get through this.

I hope this finds everyone happy, healthy and warm.

WoW, It's August!!

Hi everyone!

We had a busy July. Mommy and Emilie joined the Lake Orion MOMS Club a couple months ago. Mommy was brave and volunteered to be the Newsletter Editor. It is fun to make the newsletter and help plan events for the group. The weather has been extremely warm and Emilie and daddy has enjoyed swimming in the pool and hot tub. John and I celebrated our 7th anniversay on July 14. We took a trip to Muskegon and went out in our boat fishing. It was nice to get away for a few hours together. We also went to swim in Lake Michigan. Emilie and mommy also went to Michigan's Adventure with our cousins last weekend and Emilie had a blast. She was able to ride on a few of the rides. She really enjoyed the waterpark.
